(BlackMediaScoop) Ahmad “Real” Givens is fighting for his life.

The Real Chance of Love star underwent an operation to remove most of the cancerous growths from his colon on back in December but the surgery turned out to be far worse than first anticipated. During the surgery, doctors also found seven tumors in his liver. After removing some of the cancer from his colon, doctors then removed all but a small portion from his liver.

Now we’ve learned the cancer has spread to his brain…

You may remember the 33 year old VH1 reality star, was diagnosed with stage-four colon cancer last year. One week later, he began chemotherapy at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

“Real is in good spirits but a lot of pain,” his rep said at the time. His family also set up a website to help raise money for the treatment, because insurance only covered “about 40 percent” of the procedure.

Real first appeared on VH1 in the reality series I Love New York in 2007. The Stallionaires rapper then went on to star in his own dating game show, Real Chance of Love, with his brother Kamal “Chance” Givens from 2008 to 2009, and Real & Chance: The Legend Hunters in 2010.

We’re keeping you in our prayers Real!
