DEION SANDERS BREAKS DOWN IN COURT OVER DIVORCE DRAMA
(BlackMediaScoop) NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders and ex-wife Pilar Sanders are back in court again this week. A choked up Sanders explained to the court on Tuesday that his ex-wife Pilar started a family feud at his 2011 Hall of Fame induction, after she began fighting with his daughter from a previous marriage.
The former couple is in court trying to nail down final custody issues in what has become a long withdrawn bitter custody battle between the two. Unable to settle their difference amicably their mess has been turned over to the jury.
Now jurors will decide the primary location of the Sanders’ three children and determine restrictions on where they could move. Pilar’s attorneys said in their opening statement that Deion was a “playtime” dad who reprimanded his children if they made him look bad.
In Deion’s testimony on Tuesday, he claimed that Pilar has no clue what she wants to do with her life. Adding that he should determine where his three young children should live.
The trial continues today in Dallas.
