CEDDY CED WILL SOON MAKE “YOU” A MILLIONAIRE!
(BlackMediaScoop) BMS has learned that Cedric The Entertainer will have ANOTHER damn job.
He’ll become the new host of the hit game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
The 48-year-old funnyman will take over Meredith Vieira‘s hosting gig at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in a three-year, multi-million dollar deal.
Cedric will reportedly be getting paid close to what Vieira was making in her final season of her 11-season stint on the quiz show.
Millionarie will continue to air Vieira’s pre-recorded episodes through May and repeats through the summer. Cedric is expected to take over in September and film the second season in March.
Cedric will also return to TV Land as the star of “The Soul Man” alongside Niecy Nash – who also has strong ties to St. Louis. The show was picked up for a second season after a successful debut last summer.
