BLAIR UNDERWOOD COMING BACK TO TV!

(BlackMediaScoop) If you can remember the ’60s drama Ironside that starred Raymond Burr as a wheelchair-bound detective…NBC wants your kids to know about the show too! The network decided to shoot a remake of “IRONSIDE.”

NBC has ordered a pilot the 1960s drama series, with “L.A. Law” and “In Treatment” actor Blair Underwood in the lead role.

NBC says the remake is about a “tough, sexy but acerbic police detective relegated to a wheelchair after a shooting” but who “is hardly limited by his disability as he pushes and prods his hand-picked team to solve the most difficult cases in the city.”
