DOCTOR WHO GUNNED DOWN LOVER AT HOSPITAL FOUND DEAD
(BlackMediaScoop) Two police sources say they believe Dr. Timothy Jorden has been found dead in the woods along an 18 mile creek behind his home in Lake View in New York.
One of the sources said that the body that was found was wearing hospital scrubs. A Lake View neighbor told cops that he heard a gun shot about 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Hamburg and Buffalo police have been searching that area over the last few days.
49 year old Jorden, seen above, is suspected of luring his ex-girlfriend into a stairwell at the hospital where they both worked before shooting her dead at point-blank range.
A SWAT team surrounded the doctor’s house for nine hours earlier this week before police determining he wasn’t there. Colleagues say Jorden, who served in the Army Special Forces, had been acting strangely over the last few months and had lost a large amount of weight.
The doctor’s ex-girlfriend accused him of stalking her, and filed a police report after finding a GPS device he had placed on her car.
The victim, 33 YEAR OLD Jackie Wisniewski, a single mother from West Seneca who was looking forward to her son’s pre-K graduation today, had confided to friends that Jorden had abused her and that he had been stalking her.
“She told me, ‘I’m scared,’” said her friend, Heather Shipley. “She said: ‘If anything happens to me, you know who did it.’”
Police say it appears the doctor had been having mental health issues and was living in his office, where dirty laundry and takeout containers were found hidden above ceiling tiles.
“It’s tragic that a doctor who saved countless lives might be accused of taking someone else’s life,” said the chairwoman of the Erie Country Legislature, who has known Jorden since he was a child. “It puts a dark cloud over the mission of a hospital that’s dedicated to saving lives.”
