“CELEBRATE” WHITNEY’S FINAL RECORDING!

(BlackMediaScoop) The legendary singer’s final recording, “Celebrate,” with “American Idol” Jordin Sparks — hit the internet and airwaves.

The uplifting 3-minute song was recorded just days before Houston’s sudden passing on Feb. 11, inside her hotel in Beverly Hills. It was produced by R. Kelly. (Kells his new album, “Write Me Back,” on June 26)

Houston and Sparks, co-star in the movie “Sparkle” that’s set to come out this summer.

Sparks on Sunday delivered a heart-felt tribute to Houston at the Billboard Music Awards. She sang a rousing rendition of “I Will Always Love You,” before presenting a posthumous award to Houston’s teenage daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.

“Sparkle,” a remake of the 1976 film of the same name, tells the story of three sisters who become Motown stars who have to deal with the pressures of fame. Houston plays Sparks’ mother.
