WIFE FILES FOR DIVORCE OVER HUBBY’S “SINGLE” FACEBOOK STATUS

(BlackMediaScoop) A woman in India filed for divorce because her husband didn’t update his relationship status on Facebook to “married”, according to local media reports.

The 28-year-old IT professional went to the family court in Aurangabad recently saying she could not trust her husband on the basis he failed to announce their marriage on the social networking website.

The couple had an arranged marriage two months ago. The husband, 31, told the court he simply forgot to update his status.

“He was willing to do so now or even de-activate his account, however, the woman was not keen to continue with the marriage and she says her husband might be doing things behind her back and she couldn’t trust him,” he was quoted.
