“YOU’RE NOT THE BABY DADDY” MAN SHOOTS GIRLFRIEND OVER PATERNITY TEST
(blackmediaSCOOP) Police arrested a suspect in the shooting of a 26-year-old state jail employee who was wounded Tuesday afternoon as she left work near downtown Dallas.
29 year old Walter Moore was arrested in Lancaster on Wednesday charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence.
The victim, Shiva Daniels, was able to describe to police what happened as she got in her car outside the Dawson State Jail.
According to a 911 call, Daniels said Moore shot her and told her she “was going to die.” She said his name twice to the 911 operator.
An ambulance rushed her to Parkland Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery. On Wednesday friends said her condition was improving.
Moore has a history of family violence arrests, and is being held on $250,000 bond. Court records show the couple had been arguing over custody, child support and the paternity of their 4-year-old twin daughters. Moore had custody of the girls but recently found out he’s NOT their biological father.
