BIG BOI AVOIDS JAIL TIME ON DRUG CHARGES
(blackmediaSCOOP) Rapper Big Boi got lucky Thursday! He reached a deal on Florida drug charges that will allow him to stay out of jail.
Big Boi, whose real name is Antwan Patton, appeared in a Miami courtroom Thursday (Oct. 13) as prosecutors outlined the deal that includes three months of drug testing, community service and $2,000 in donations to charities.
We toldja the 36 year old rapper was arrested getting off a cruise ship back in August when a K-9 dog alerted cops to drugs Big Boi was carrying. The drugs included ecstasy, a cigarette roller with marijuana residue and the ecstasy ingredient MDMA.
Big Boi had faced two felony drug charges. Prosecutors say if he remains drug-free after three months of testing, those charges will be dismissed.
